Title in capital letters should be brief and indicate the abstract content.
Avoid abbreviations in the title.
Maximum 250 words are allowed.
Structure of the abstract for study should be in the format - Aims & Objectives, Materials & Methods, Results & Conclusions.
Structure of the abstract for case reports and case series Introduction, Case Reports & Discussion.
Abstracts should contain the original matter neither published, nor presented elsewhere prior in print or electronic media.
Refrain from using key words or references in the abstracts.
Avoid trademarks or copyright symbols in the abstracts.
Conflict of interest and declaration of conflict are mandatory.
The abstracts which fail to comply with the following will be automatically rejected
  - use only generic names of the drugs by its active pharmacological content, avoid commercial names and brand names of drugs and pharmaceutical company names.
Abstract will be reproduced as it is.
Limit the use of abbreviations and acronyms in the abstracts.
Once successfully uploaded, you will get an acknowledgement e-mail or SMS.
Status of the abstract will be informed by 15th September 2021.
Last date for the submission of abstracts is 31st July 2021.


General Information and Guidelines
Award papers are open only to Junior Residents & young dermatologists below the age of 35 years(only one presentation is allowed per Resident/Delegate to give opportunities to more Residents / Delegates).
Free papers are open to all delegates.
Prior registration is mandatory for consideration of paper in any format.
Duration: Award papers - 7 minutes (for studies) & 5mins (for case reports/Series), Free papers – 6 minutes.
For award papers, format is in Studies and Case reports.
Studies should have a structured format: Aims and objectives, Materials and methods, Results and Conclusions.
Case reports & Case series format : only brief summary of the case to be submitted.
All presentations should be in MS power point (ppt. 2010 or later).
No videos or animations are allowed.
Presenter’s laptops or projectors are not allowed for presentation.
Maximum number of slides is 16 and each slide should contain a maximum of 6 – 8 lines with 8- 10 words per line.
For award papers, questions are allowed only from judges.
Presentation in pen drive should be handed over to the preview room 3 hours before and get a receipt.
Mobile or any other electronic device with or without internet connection will not be allowed to connect to the computer in the preview room.
No changes are allowed after submitting the same to the preview room.
It should be noted that, all entries will not be considered for oral presentation. Acceptance is in the purview of the scientific committee and papers found not suitable for award paper or free paper presentation may be changed to E-poster format. The decision of the scientific committee in this regard will be final.

Guidelines for E-Poster
Registration for MID DERMACON 2021 is mandatory.
Only posters in .JPG format can be accepted.(Image File)
All e-Posters should have one page only, in landscape.
Image file is A4 Landscape (Width 29.7cm * Height 21cm).
In case you are using Photoshop to create your poster, you can also set its resolution, which should be at least 200dpi.
All E-posters should be prepared in UK English.
To improve clarity, use either light font on a dark background or dark font on a light background.
Video or audio files and animations are not permitted.
Total file size should not exceed 5 MB.
The narration time for your poster should not exceed 4 minutes. (narration audio file upload option will be given)
Image is permitted including title, references and acknowledgement
Only Windows based computers will be used during the conference, so appropriate conversion is mandatory prior to submission.
No change in the presentation will be permitted once submitted.
Personal laptops are not permitted for E - poster presentation.

Guidelines for Quiz
Conference registration is mandatory.
Two students per college.
Details of the student (College Name, Student Name, Email ID, Contact Number, IADVL Membership Number) signed by HOD is required.
